It is easy to grow a shamrock or clover plant from our real Irish shamrock seeds.

Refrigerate shamrock seeds for 24 hours before planting. To germinate gently push the seeds into the soil, approximately 5 mm deep, but do not cover. Keep the soil damp but not overly wet. Place in indirect sunlight on a window sill. AT a temperature is between 15-20°C (60-68°F). Seedlings will appear in a few weeks after sowing. The shamrock plants do not like excessive warmth.

Be aware shamrock can go dormant.

If your shamrock or clover plant looks as though it has died. It may be just dormant from too much sunlight. Something the native Irish plants do not get too often. If this happens, trim back the foliage and leave it in a shaded place out of direct sunlight. Within a couple of weeks, your plant should be back showing signs of life.
